Endoscopy Department

The Endoscopy Department has four procedure rooms and a three-bed recovery area. One of the procedure rooms includes a permanent fluoroscope (x-ray), so patients needing this during a procedure do not have to be moved to the Diagnostic Imaging Department as is typical in most hospitals. Patients in the Endoscopy Department can either lie on a traditional bed or sit upright in the ease and comfort of a reclining chair while recovering from anesthesia after an endoscopy procedure.
